Creative Exchange is working with the EU and Erasmus who have funded projects across EU partner countries and for the past 18 months we have been working on Radicalisation and Protecting Young People from Internet Grooming. It is called the Heads-Up Project.
We are having a conference on Thursday 13 June 9am - 1.30pm and we would love you to come for free.
There has been some excellent research so far which will prove helpful to educators, parents and people who do good work in the community. You can also give the benefit of your experiences, knowledge and suggestions which will go into a policy document.
Too many children are lost to grooming and radicalisation, and once they are in their teens it is difficult to curb the dangers that can ensue both to them and to others.
We are inviting schools, colleges, universities as well as the police, public bodies and parents.
If you are involved in formal or non-formal education, are a professional or volunteer, security professional, young person or parent, this event is for you. The training material and resources will be made available free of charge to all who attend.
