Briefing meetings October 3rd 2018: Open to all.
The Adur and Worthing Poverty Truth Commission (AWPTC) are pleased to announce that we will be holding two open briefing meetings for the community of Adur & Worthing to meet with us and our national Coordinator Andrew Grinnell from Leeds.
The Adur and Worthing Poverty Truth Commission aims to generate solutions for the local area by bringing together decision makers with those with first-hand experience of poverty.
1. A Morning Meeting for community commissioners and local Charities, NGOs and the public. October 3rdth at 10.am-11.30am at the Coop Community Space Shoreham By Sea.
2. An Afternoon meeting for civic and business leaders, the Gordon Room, Worthing Town Hall. 2pm-3.30pm.
The morning meeting is for local people with direct experiences of living in poverty and social exclusion who would be interested in being Community Commissioners. We offer a neutral space and welcome all members of the local community as well as local organisations who support potential Community Commissioners.
The afternoon meeting is for civic and business leaders interested in becoming Civic and Business Commissioners.
